Flavor Name: Special Dark Chocolate with Almonds
My family has been enjoying Hershey's Dark Chocolate Nuggets for many years. They have always been our favorite for Christmas stocking stuffers, Halloween, Easter baskets, and all year-round. However, Hershey must have changed the formula. At first I thought I had gotten a bad batch and continued to buy the candy. We are now on our third bag since noticing the difference and will not be buying them again. They no longer have that great big cocoa taste and authentic slightly grainy texture, but now dissolve in your mouth almost instantly with very little chocolate flavor. It tastes as though they now contain a much greater percentage of sugar to cocoa…more like a chocolate-flavored product than real chocolate. My guess is they cheapened the product by lowering the cocoa content and raising the amount of sugar. At least they don’t use high-fructose corn syrup, yet. I don’t know about their other products as I only am reviewing Dark Chocolate Nuggets, so check the label. Side note: Label no longer states that they are made in the USA, only that they are "Dist. by the Hershey Company" which is not the same thing. All that tells you is that they were distributed by Hershey, not where they actually were made.

Hershey's chocolate. No other brand has that Hershey taste. Love it or hate it.

When I bought these it was a pretty good deal.

My girlfriend loves this particular flavor, so I got them for her as a gift. She was kind enough to share though.

They arrived in good condition. There wasn't any issues with melting, none of the oils separated from the chocolate or left a white film on the chocolate itself, nor were there any grease stains on the wrappers.

Very happy with my purchase and will likely purchase again if I can't find it locally.

The combination of a moderately dark chocolate with roasted almonds hits my personal candy sweet spot. These have a nice snap to the chocolate part of the nugget which is complemented by the crunch of the roasted almonds. Amazon seems to have the shipping down as the candies ship in a refrigerated cold box that keeps them from melting even in hot weather. The bags are plain looking but the candies are excellent. If you want to explore this and 3 other varieties of Hershey's nuggets I also recommend Hershey's Nuggets Chocolates Assortment, 38.5-Ounce Bag .

Ever since I decided that delicious chocolate was a necessary accessory to my desk (going by the premise that dark chocolate's anti-oxidants' provide necessary nutrients for a thoughtful and productive day! :), it's become an office favorite and I am just ever-so-slightly-more-popular in the office! Seriously, the chocolate is good, can't beat the price and the packaging was perfect!

My favorite chocolate ever. Delicious toffee and nuts in a creamy chocolate bar. It came packed on ice and was cold almost frozen even shipped to Florida in the summer. Amazon does a great job packing this for delivery and doesn't charge for the ice packs. My coworkers all fell in love with this chocolate and get upset when I run out!

These are the only ones I like. I cannot get these in the local stores, they only carry the bag with the mixed chocolates and I do not care for the sweeter milk choclate. I was worried about the age of these given the other reviews but my bag was fine.
