I have this same isolator. It has worked great for 15 years and I have been abusive to the batteries running them dead at times, many times, and charging back up through the isolator. It is 200 amps and vehicle puts out 135 amps, so I was never close to the limits, but was charging 4 batteries at a time (3 deep cycle and one vehicle), and running RV appliances.

This battery isolator was an exact replacement for the one on my coach. The one I replace had been on my rig for 14 years and had exhausted it's usefulness. The price was right, a perfect fit , and took all of 15 minutes to install. The starter battery and the onboard power batteries work as they were designed now. Thanks !
