Physical install is easy. Did not load any drivers on the included discs. Downloaded June 2009 drivers from the AMD site. After driver install, there was no sound. Loaded HDMI Audio Drivers from the AMD site. Still no sound. Went to Control Panel > Sound and changed the sound settings from ATI Rear Output, or whatnot, back to the onboard Realtek Sound, and that fixed it.

How good are the graphics? Runs Blu-Ray media well. Games like Fallout 3 and Age of Conan look really good at somewhere between High and Ultra High custom settings at 1650x1050. Grass looks nearly real. Giant scorpions are scaaaarrryyyy.

The advantage of this card is no need for a power cable, and it has native HDMI if you ever get the urge to hook this up to HDTV via HDMI to play Blu-Ray. Fan noise -- I can't hear any.

The 4670 is a great budget video card for small desktops. It does not require a big power supply or any extra cooling making it perfect for desktop computers that are not intended to be gaming powerhouses. I put this in a Dell Inspiron 530 and it works perfectly. With 2GB of RAM and a Core 2 Duo processor I was even able to run Crysis at 1280x1024 with high settings (no AA)!

Pros:
-Inexpensive
-Does not require external power (it draws its power from the PCIe bus)
-Quiet
-Very fast for the money
-Medium length (it easily fit in the 530's case)
-VGA, DVI, and HDMI connectors

Cons:
-Don't expect killer performance for this price.

I bought this product because of reviews stating that it is the most powerful and lowest priced card available that does not need separate power from the PCI express connector. No question -- it is FAR more powerful than the nVidia 7600GS that preceded it. But the ASUS 4670 is a bit noisy. It runs it's fan at 100% full speed and the GPU temperature rarely exceeds 38 degrees C. So now I'm looking for updates to the card's software that will let me run down the fan speed.
