If you are a "nose breather" and have nasal passages that develop restricted air flow when you lay down, or perhaps you have a deviated septum, or both, you will almost certainly find Breathe Right Nasal Strips to be of great help at improving your sleep--and possibly reducing your snoring.

The strip attaches to your nose using a mild but effective adhesive, and two plastic "springs" want to straighten out, lifting the outside of the nose just enough to provide clear air passages.

Learning to install the strip to your best advantage can be a trial and error exercise. The instructions show one position to install the strip, but it isn't necessarily the best for each person. If your nose is long, the position shown might not lift at the best spot, making you think these won't work for you.

There are two lengths of strips, one marked "small/medium" and one marked "large". Most folks need the small/medium. If the strip comes down onto your face, use the smaller strip. The strips also come in a clear version and a "scratch and sniff" version with menthol. They now have a new "super" version that is much wider, covering more of the nose with 3 springs, that makes it much easier to place the strip effectively.

If you feel the outside of your nose, squeezing lightly, you will note there is a cartilage ridge that supports the center of your nose from top to bottom. There are also two projections of harder cartilage that support the sides of the nose up near your face. Most folks can't lift the hard cartilage away from the center ridge, but just below the hard side cartilage, there is soft flesh that the Breathe Right strip will easily lift. I find that I need to place the strip just below the hard cartilage to get the most effect from the strip.Read more ›

Breathe Right nasal strips are the best non-drug, non-prescription product out on the market for providing opening of the nasal passageways allowing greater intake of air flow due to the normal closure of the mucous membranes during sleep. Even if you do not have difficulty breathing during sleep, Breathe Right comfortably creates a greater opening of the nasal passages than is otherwise possible without it. I would recommend Breathe Right to anyone who has no breathing difficulty through anyone who has mild sleep apnea. Severe sleep apnea requires a CPAP device or a corrective medical procedure. I prefer the tan to the clear [the clear does not have enough adhesive to last all night]. Small/Med will fit most people's nose. Med/Large is only needed if you have a big nose.

My husband has used Breathe Right for years. I added it to my Subscribe & Save, for a great price, but didn't pay attention to the tan strips vs. clear. During the 2nd month of using the tan strips my husband developed a sore on his nose from the strips, as they pulled the skin away to the point it became scabbed over. I was happy to see they also offer clear strips, which I know work fine. I switched over my subscribe & save to the clear, and am very please with the price.

I use these strips every single night. If I even forget them I'm a disaster the next day!
They really help open up the nose and get a good night's sleep.
My only issue with them is that the ends are a bit pointy, and once in a while it will be itchy under the strip, but if I pull it off it doesn't go back on.
I love these strips, and I may switch to the lavender scented one.
I have learned to bend it backward a little to create a crease, which helps me put it in the right spot.
I'll even wear it​ during the day sometimes, like in the attached picture, if m suffering from really bad allergies.

I have used Breathe Right strips for years and they work well for me. I asked my ENT doctor and he confirmed that they work *IF* you can breathe better by placing two fingers beside your nose and pull outward while pressing. *BUT* watch out for very clever fakes being sold on Amazon - they have the same color labels but have a different name - only "BREATHE RIGHT" is correct.

No problem with supplier. Excellent service. I've used the strips many times in the past and they were perfect. They still are, however, the adhesive is now TOO good. I have a really difficult time getting the strips off my nose, even with water and soap. I've had to stop using them because my nose get so sore, even on the inside. Naturally I want them to stick good but this is rediculous.

Breathe Right nasal strips are the most effective way of increasing the flow of air into and out of the nasal passages during sleep. When you adhere the strip to the outside of your nose, the strip springs open and provides more space for air to flow during inhalation and exhalation through the nostrils. The strips come in Tan and Clear and in sizes Small/Medium and Large. I like the Tan because they stay on the nose all night as opposed to the Clear which are less adhesive and more prone to falling off. Most people will use the Small/Medium size unless your nose is large. When applying the strip, only remove the backing so that the outside ends of the strip are adhesive (leave the middle part covering the bridge of the nose unadhesive). To remove the stickiness in the morning, take a 2" x 2" piece of non-sterile gauze moistened with a little water and gently rub off [you can buy 200 pieces of non-sterile gauze in a pharmacy or hospital supply store for $3].
