The product seems really good and I think it's worth the price. it worked exactly as advertised for me, except when I plugged it into my Mac.

"No driver required" is true, but you do need to configure it as a keyboard in System Preferences which is missing from the instructions. They replied with a vague answer immediately, but it was so vague I had no idea what to do. It took me 12 more DAYS to get a reply from the company to resolve this issue, and the reply made me feel like I was dumb for not know it. They also closed a second ticket with no reply and closed the first one when they decided it was fixed.

So just pray you don't have to contact their support department.

These barcode scanners are inexpensive and easy to use, but seem to take a bit longer to read high-quality barcodes than I would expect. Beware of the company's product page which claims RS-232 communication capability, which it does not have. Also, documentation (online and included) is very poor, and customer service is terrible -- it took 9 days for their helpdesk to respond initially and we're at day 12 or so (21 total) waiting on response number 2.

If you want a scanner for simple keyboard emulation and using high-quality codes, this is a cheap alternative. For anything else including features listed on their site (or customer service of any kind), look elsewhere.

These tend to randomly go bad after a year or more. This would not be my first choice in a barcode scanner, but my work uses them so I buy them. They do work good until they croak. Good price here on Amazon compared to the in store price.

the product is like the offer in the web page, however the laser ray is unidirectional and I consider that a scanner barcode multidirectional is best. My recommendation is to buy a multidirectional scanner barcode
