The braided wire from which the fibers extend are too exposed. When I use the brush in the tight spaces of my wheels, the metal wire rubs against the surface. Also, the fibers come off pretty easily. I stopped using the brush before it scratched my wheels. If you don't have narrow spaces you'd use this brush in, it's probably fine. If you do, you might not like it.

Ya, this one is pretty bad. The bristles started to come off, not enough protection before the metal wires. I'm save mine for inner cleaning of the exhaust tip.

One of the worst parts of washing the car is cleaning the rims. I hate trying to get into all the openings. I have all chroe rims and this brush allows me to get into all the open spaces; bristles are soft enough to clean without scratching the rim.

When new, this brush does an okay job at cleaning wheels. However, after a couple of uses, the braided wires become exposed and start to scratch your wheels. Also, I have found the wire a bit too flexible and the entire brush end will start to bend to the side when you are cleaning. I didn't know that this brush had started scratching my wheels until it was too late. I will not be using it again.

It cleaned my wheels well initially, but then it began to scratch them. That is a deal breaker to me. I could deal with the bristles falling out but scratches in my rims put this thing straight in the garbage can.

I bought this thinking the slim design would fit in the narrow gap between my wheel and the brake caliper, but it is not very flexible, and the bristles come out easily. It actually scratched the paint on one of my wheels when the wire center scraped after the bristles had come out or been pushed out of the way. Stay away from this!

Straightforward: they do the job they were set out to do. They do loose the bristles pretty easy. These are used on chrome rims and it makes the cleaning process even easier! Perfect! Another great Mother's product!
