We recently rescued 2 tiny abandoned kittens and have been bottle feeding them for several weeks. Since my husband and I work very long days, and the kittens need to eat every few hours, I needed a way to take them to my office during the day, and for them to be confined and safe at the same time. This enclosure completely did the trick! I can use it at home in our spare bedroom at night (to keep them safe and separated from my 3 other cats)and in the morning just fold it up and take the kittens to my office for the day. There is plenty of room for a little bed, a litter box, toys, and food/water now that they are eating solid food. It saved us from having to purchase 2 separate cages for home and work. My only wish is that they should include a diagram about how to fold it up once open! I am "spatially challenged" and fussed with it a bit in the beginning until I got the hang of it! Overall though, an awesome product!!!!

I bought this prodcut about 5 weeks ago for our new lab puppy. It has been great. I bought the largest one not knowing how long it would hold her. After 3 weeks (she was 11 weeks old) she learned if she leaned on the weaker sides she could clapse the entire thing and get out. I did not have the top on it at the time- so my husband suggested we put the top back on - it is mesh. That worked she can no longer get out. I expect to be able to use it for maybe another 3-4 weeks. She has chewed on it and has not done damage. She pulls the bottom up from the velcro holders too - but gets bored with it and had not figured out how to get under it. If she were going to be a small dog forever I could see using this as a crate. I crate trained her too bc of housebreaking.
My biggest complaint is that when i got it I unfolded it and set it up fast but then could not get it to fold back down no matter how hard I tried. I plan to keep it bc I hope to get another puppy in a couple years- so I loved that it was supposed to fold down and store in the bag it came with. No such luck for me.
Otherwise this is a very nice pen for keeping puppy quiet - I have other dogs and this keeps her from bugging them all day! She did have a couple accidents in it and it cleaned up great - use an enzyme cleaner so it rids all odors so they won't think they can pee there. We were lucky our pup housetrained in about 2 weeks. I think crating and using this pen helped in that process.

This was definitely the best pet purchase I have made. I have a 10 lb Maltese and I ended up buying the large. He loves it! I keep it in my room and he stays in it during the day while I am at work. I put his bed, a few toys, and his water/food bowl inside. It has been wonderful to travel with as well. It folds up perfectly! I highly recommend this product!

This pen was purchased to help raise two young pups.

Pros:
1. Easy setup and storage.
2. Matching carrying case.
3. Accessory storage on the exterior.
4. Two zippered doorways with velcro tie-offs.
5. Removable bottom panel for easy cleaning and yard usage(outside grass).
6. Removable top panel for screening the suns rays -or- containing jumping pups/kittens/etc.

Cons:
1. Awful design for bottom panel (not enough velcro to keep secure).
2. Side mesh windows appear thin and weak.
3. zippers not high quality (not at all heavy-duty).

I had to spend an additional $10 to get more velcro to reinforce the bottom panel. The extra velcro makes a huge difference.

If you're careful with the zippers they should last a while, just don't twist while pulling them.

For the price, I shouldn't have to modify this pen in able to get my money's worth.

I don't usually write reviews, but felt this product was so great, I had to say something about it. I drove cross country this past summer with my cat who is semi-feral. She isn't aggressive, but she doesn't know how to interact with people. I've had her since June 2005 and she's made great progress, but she still won't let me near her and she hides under the bed all day and night. She comes out when I'm sleeping, not in the room, or not home. I had to enlist my next door neighbor to help me catch her whenever I had to take her to the vet. This cat is fast and will literally run up walls to avoid us.

I had to figure out a way to let her out of the small crate she would be traveling in while in the car, but something that would keep her enclosed and unable to dart under the hotel beds, because I knew if that happened, I'd never catch her again. I came across this product on Amazon and after much research, decided this was the "cage" that I needed. The product worked without a hitch. It took up little room in my car when folded which was good because my car was literally packed to the top. Once I got to each hotel, I first brought in my cat in her crate, this play yard, and all of my cat's accessories. The play yard went up first. It was so easy. I then put a small litter box, my cat's food and water, some treats, and the small crate with her in it into the play yard. I zipped the top on the play yard and then opened one of the zippered doors so that I could open the small crate door and take it off. She stayed in the crate until I re-zippered the door and was away from the play yard. My cat had plenty of room to stretch and walk around.
