I could not find out how many items came in the package. Therefore I did not know if I was getting a fair price for what I ordered. Would liked to have had this information prior to my purchase because I may or may not have placed this order. This should be in the item description.

I took my kids fishing in saltwater in northeast Florida. We ran out of dead shrimp so all I had was these white mullets with the wiggly tails, so we tried them out. The fish loved them! They especially loved the tails, not sure why. We ended up pulling off the tails and just putting them on a hook and poof, Fish On! My 8 year old daughter caught a 12 inch spotted sea trout! Amazing, I've never in my entire life of trying artificial bait caught anything until we tried this stuff. You don't even need to use the whole thing. I ended up cutting them into chunks and still caught a ton of fish. And I didn't have to keep re-baiting my kids hooks which was a bonus since I have to wear gloves because I'm allergic to the shrimp we fish with. Years and years of fishing and trying all kinds of artificial baits and lures and this stuff is the only thing that has ever worked!

It's about time I reviewed my favorite lure. Oh wait, I meant bait. Okay, it's a hybrid bait lure.
It's been 5 yrs and I haven't looked back. I am an avid saltwater fisherman and ever since the Gulp! Mullets came on the scene, it's been a memorable ride. As a shore bound angler from piers to surf in the northeast, I always make sure to bring enough Gulp.
If I'm not chasing striped bass in the spring and fall you can bet I'm Fluke fishing (summer flounder). I'm sure other anglers use it for all sorts if species, but I can tell you without hesitation that this is the BEST Fluke bait/lure on the market here in NY, Long Island, and NJ. The "magic gravy" the lures are soaked in is a fish magnet. The tail action obviously helps but in tandem makes it a deadly weapon of choice.
I've landed hundreds and hundreds of fluke. One memorable time I landed 60 in 2 hrs. That's almost every cast. Talk about fast and furious.
Hi-Lo rig is devastatingly effective. I can honestly say I expect to catch twice as much as the guy next time me using anything else other than Gulp, mullets.
The magic gravy smells so bad, I want to yak sometimes. But as bad as it smells for us, the fish absolutely loves it.
Now although it's a catching machine, it's not perfect. It's spongy body is durable enough but the tail is the weak point. If bluefish, puffer fish or even crabs are around, you will get back a tailless grub in most cases, so you would need to change to a fresh one and that does get expensive. If I find other toothy creatures are around I will stop using them all together.
In most cases one gulp can last more than a dozen hits. It will get mangled after a while but still produces, just need to readjust it here and there.

I went on a charter fishing trip targeting rockfish and figured I would try this swim bait. Well, it worked like a charm. in fact, I was catching more fish on this bait than other baits I used. This swim bait has become my "go to" bait.

Before this product was introduced, I used the Berkley 8" powerbait sandworm as a trailer on bucktail jigs for fluke ( summer flunder ) to very good effect. When this became availabe, it was tried - experimently - in place of the powerbait and the results were nothing short of incredible. My catch ratios increased some 400% to 500% after using this product. Without a doubt, this easily and consistantly outfishes live bait in the surf and on piers for fluke along the New Jersey Shore.

3" seems smaller than I remember (add joke here) The body of these is not as long as I thought they were going to be. No big deal I will buy bigger baits. I look forward to tossing these along pilings for snapper. I wish they would make this in a 5-6" I hope the tail isn't eaten off by the little A-hole fish like they they do to the gulp shrimps. You make one cast with a gulp shirmp and pull back a nub!

I got these cause cod were eating them up and managed to catch 4 nice keepers the first time I used them. I will definitely keep some around for whenever the bate fish are small and dark colored. This order arrived fast thru prime and was packaged very well with no issues what so ever.

We use these in ocean city maryland and catch unreasonable amounts of striper and flounder. We have also caught sea trout, blues and drums with these. We go to ocean city MD once a year for a week so we are not locals.

Used these at Sanibel island in Florida and caught snook and a bunch of other fish I forget the name of.

Absolutely a must try for salt water fishing. I plan to give this a try this year for fresh water bass.

Update:
I used these at a pond in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania in June of 2015. Using the Pearl White Gulp and fishing for about 2 hours I caught 11 Smallmouth Bass. All of the fish were between 11 and 15 inches. It looks like this are all I need in my fishing box!
