Be sure this fits your LitterMaid model. This one didn't fit my model and the seller, Ablackhorse, refused to take a return even though it was totally uniopened. $40 bucks down the drain! Do not by from them!!

I am very happy with this product. It helps cut down the litter outside the box by not allowing the cats to jump over the sides and the carpet keeps discarded litter from getting all over the floor. What a great addition to my newer littermaid box!

frame work does not stay on, no clasps, just 'U' hooks that are too small to hold the rods in place. The mat is not anything you want to use indoors. It's cut by hand, and is very low quality. I wouldn't use it as a door mat in the garage. disappointing and should not be associated with LitterMaid.

We got this as a replacement for the one we had received with our littermaid. This one is just paper thin and has tears and clawmarks in it and is already ruined within a week while the one we had gotten with the unit lasted us 3 years. Quality need to be looked at.

Total piece of junk. In all fairness though, I don't have the "Elite" LitterMaid. I just needed something as my cats were used to having a top and this is all that would allow the mechanism to go up and down. It won't hold together. The top bar that is supposed to "snap into place" doesn't. All it does is collapse. Add this to a litter box I already don't like and this is one of my worse purchases ever. The box advertises it takes "any kind of scoopable litter", then,after you get it, it says it works best with the corn cob litter (which they sell). My cats hate that, so now i have cat poo all over. Stay away from this whole system!

This kit has made a huge difference in the amount of kitty litter that ends up on the floor. I have an extremely active/playful male bengal who thinks the litter box is another toy for him. He likes to tear around and dive into the litter box...then peel out sending kitty litter flying all over the place...he thinks he is a top fuel dragster. The large carpet is a definite improvement over small throw rugs...it is easier to clean up and stiffer so it lays flat on the floor (this curtails playing bull dozer and rendering the carpet useless).

I have used Litter maid self cleaning boxes for years and I acquired this one after the motor stopped working on the last one. Thinking it would clean better because of the newer motor and metal rake. What I have found is more clean litter gets dumped into the tray and on my floor than the dirty litter. Also, I cannot ever get the plastic trays to fit so litter falls between the tray and underneath. No matter what type of clumping litter I use it sticks to the bottom of the tray, which makes me have to scoop out the litter myself. Makes me question why I bought this in the first place.
