Wright Tools are absolutely some of the best tools money can buy - bar none. I sold Wright tools for several years. Folks, these tools in my opinion, are comparable to the very best from Snap-On, MAC Tools, or Matco. Their quality and construction is second to none. If you want some VERY VERY good professional grade tools - Wright Tools are an excellent option. They are comparable to the very best.

I have purchased many brands of combination wrenches, from Craftsman to the tool trucks. It is of my opinion, as a mechanic for mobile and industrial equipment, that these wrenches provide the best value and overall performance. I love the thick beam, unlike Craftsman or Snap On that have a sharp OR just plain thin cross profile. These are very comfortable to use. I enjoy the satin finish as they stay in my hands, where as the tool truck brands have the jewelry like finish. That jeweled finish slips out of my hands anywhere near oil or grease. If you are into the jewelry look at the 900 series wrenches, the 700 series are the satin finish. Additionally, the open end of these wrenches are "Wrightgrip" which is Wright's equivalent of Flank Drive plus, Opti torque, etc. This technology works fantastic. I have used the open end on hydraulic fittings that were stationary for over 30 years on agricultural equipment and hit the box end with a hammer to break them loose! These wrenches are SUPERB!!! I would not trade them for any other wrench .... at ANY price!

This is a solid, attractive, and well made set of wrenches. The Wrightgrip open ends really grab fasteners without spreading or rounding the fastener head. I like the satin chrome finish as opposed to a bright chrome finish. The wrenches feel good, no sharp corners or edges. In my opinion, the overall quality of Wright wrenches is equal or better than the "tool truck" brands, at a lower price. Good tools at a reasonable price.

Good but not perfect. Wright wrenches are shipped (like some others) in a soft wrench roll. This is fine in itself, but during all the shipping, the wrenches get slightly damaged from rubbing up against one another. It is a shame as these are really nice tools that are let down a little by poor manufacturer packaging and rough shipping.

One of if not the only industrial tool manufacturers left, though their Cougar line is foreign made. I buy Wright tools all the time, they seem to be on par with my Snap-on, Mac, and Matco automotive tools for the most part. Their sockets and box ends are CAD designed, and are supposed to graphics fastness better than Snap-on, though I have yet to have an occasion to affirm or deny that, bottom line is that I absolutely love these tools.
