My shoe sizes vary - I have 9in - 10in sizes - and each fits in these stackable boxes. I can fit my walking shoes standing up, but hi-cut basketball shoes need to be laid down on its side. Snow boots do not fit, however. (No problem here as I keep its original box for storage). My estimate is you can fit a couple of pairs of ladies' shoes in one box.

Depending on your usage, you might find the lid to be just okay. It snaps when you close it, and like the previous reviewer said, it is not air-tight. I can literally open it with just three fingers. I like it, though, because I can retrieve my shoes much faster.

The box doesn't have holes, so you might want to drill some if you plan to use it for shoes to allow some breathing, and for the smell to escape.

For $25 (set of 5 boxes) and free shipping, the price is reasonable. The boxes look good in my room; they are translucent, and I can identify the shoes from 10 feet away.

I purchased two of these, and they look perfect in my room. Planning to buy another set for different purpose.

I chose these because the size fit a specific purpose. BUT they are not as good as the Sterilite boxes which seem of higher quality plastic. These also have little feet on the bottom corners. Not sure why. Not a big deal but it means they take up a little more vertical space and also makes the boxes more slippery when stacking them and off the edge of a shelf. Lid fits okay but not tight. But one other reviewer said the labels are hard to remove--true.

I am pleased to report that these clear boxes are just what I was looking for. A single box is large enough to hold a pair of my husband's sized 13 shoes. Heck, imagine my surprise, when I was able to easily fit a pair of his size 14 work boots into one of these boxes! And they stack neatly presenting a nice, uniformed look. Of course, these boxes may even be used to store and protect a million different things other than footwear. So with all that said, I am very happy about finding these perfectly sized containers that are meeting my needs.

The boxes would be good ,but it is very difficult to remove the large labels. I don't want to leave the large label on as they're not attractive. After finally getting labels off;I had to use rubbing alcohol to remove excess glue. I broke two fingernails and left some unwanted scratches peeling these labels off. I need another ten for shelves, but I am going to go with a different brand. I know that I did not have this problem with sterillite.

Definitely not air tight and the lids don't stay on the box tightly at all. So I wouldn't use them if I am planning to move these boxes a lot, or if I want air tight storage. But for my purpose, they are fine and good price!

I ordered these to store my boots in. Good size, a bit deeper than I need. I like that it's clear all around, including the cover. Quality of plastic seems fine but top does not close well/stay on tight. For my purpose it's fine but perhaps something to consider.
