They are clothes pins but lousy ones. They are first of all light and slick, if you hang clothes that is enough said. Slick is not good as they pop out of your hands. lol They do not appear to have tight springs either and do not hold anything even remotely with any weight. Go to Lehaman's and get decent ones and save yourself the trouble. I will NOT be purchasing more of these.

The clothespins I received were not bamboo. I specifically chose these because bamboo is renewable. Why use trees to make clothespins? I am very disappointed.
