Sorry, I don't trust any food item made in China. China is a country that has poisoned and killed their own children with purposely tainted food. My bottle of this product was purchased at Safeway and is stamped "Made in China" so I have discontinued using this brand. I felt lied to as my bottle was not USDA organic but had some obscure international rating. Sorry, I don't trust the Chinese to raise truly organic plants or run a clean, organic processing and packaging operation. Further, the best organic garlic comes from California so why import such an easily obtainable item?

Amazon's sales blurb above says this is a USDA organic product -- I assume they are correct. Let's hope so. However, it's the manufacturer who supplies the sales info, not Amazon, so this product might come from China afterall.

I want USA organic food that is grown, processed, and packaged under USDA supervision. You should, too.

This garlic is excellent for a dried garlic, nice pungent smell and taste. Not only that, but the bottle has the USDA Organic logo on it. ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE on the bottle or its packaging does this product mention ANYTHING about being made in China. Either the review that mentions China is too old, or it is possibly posted by a jealous competitor--if its not an old post, he/she should take a photo of the bottle with those words on it to prove the (unprovable from my experience) point. Its NOT made in China, folks. My family and I are really pleased with this purchase.

I use this garlic on basically all my dishes. It tastes really good. On the bottle it mentions: USDA Organic - Certified Organic QAI, Distributed by Frontier Natural Products CO-OP, Norway, IA 52318 U.S.A.
It doesn't mention made in China anywhere on the bottle. Even if it was, I would still rate it 5 stars.

We use a variety of this companies spices and herbes and love them all. They are good quality and organic.

The only down side is that one has to order 3 bottles at a time and that is too much for us.
It takes us a while to use one jar. Should have considered that when I made the purchase.

I would like the company to sell a 3 pack of garlic, onion and one more, maybe paprika. That would make more sense for us.

My preference these days is to get the little tins of spices and herbs packets from Tsp Spices Organic. These are much fresher and keep longer.

There is a reason why the back image of this product is not displayed for this item since it clearly says "CHINA"... Check it out Simply Organic Garlic Powder Certified Organic, 3.64-Ounce Container. It is a ridiculously high priced garlic without taste regardless if it is organic vs. conventional especially when the US garlic, the conventional garlic, the non-GMO garlic, produced in California, the hub of garlic in US is sold for one third of the price, I mean one third of the price for the real garlic grown in US soil with US water. The sad part of this item is that the top reviewer with five star actually disputes any claims other than some unknown research conducted by herself.

I first began purchasing these three packs in 2009, when they only cost $11.45, but have to say, they are still worth the cost at $14.95. Excellent quality and taste--sweet, with that wonderful garlic pungency we love. Living in a farm community, I see how many chemicals are used in raising food crops, so I am always happy to find products that are organic.

We use garlic on everything, and this is by far the best brand we have used as far as taste and flavor go. We can sometimes find it at our local grocery on a buy one get one free sale, but more likely than not, it's nearly seven dollars a bottle. Amazon is wonderful!

Highly recommend this garlic.
