I bought this in July to use in Maine. The trails shown in Acadia National Park's Isle Au Haut are outdated or inaccurate. I wasted a lot of time trying to find a non-existent trail and got back to the boat after dark by using another trail not shown. And it lacks trails in Maine state parks etc.

I ordered an SD card for the etrex 30 and received Spetember 2008 software. The one that has been out since April 2009 should have been the one shipped. I am going to return and request the latest update. Buyer beware!! I only saved $10 not going through Garmin but looking back now I should have spent the money and could have received in 2 business days. instead I had to wait 7 days.

I was a little wary of this map, as the price was quite a bit lower than what I was seeing elsewhere. However, it came just as advertized and ended up being a big help on our travels. The maps were detailed and accurate, even noting minor trails in Saguaro National Park and helping us to locate water sources with no problem. The chip came in especially handy in New Mexico, as many of the forest roads traversing the Gila National Forest are marked differently than they are on traditional road maps. I would definitely recommend this chip to anyone backpacking or traveling backroads!

Installation was unsuccessful and follow up assistance from Garmin was non-existent. VERY user unfriendly. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I was very disappointed with this item. It was mid labeled !! It was marked as the mountain south, ( New Mexico and Arizona) but was actually mountain central. I realize this is not Amazon's fault, but was probably mis labeled by Garmin.

Hi, I had to return the first one as there were no instruction and no one at Amazon knew that the Micro sd card was inside the larger one. I finally called Garmin and they told me and it works great. need to put something like a sticker, on it as it looks like just a regular SD card and take a little to discover that the micro slides out. thanks
