Installed on rear door hinge mount. Tuned right up, SWR 1.5-1.7, not bad for off the roof installation. Performance is excellent. I don't like the look of the stinger at the top of the antenna, but it is there for function, so it's worth it. A little wrench is included in the package, a nice touch. Great product, great service, great packaging, great price.

put it on my jeep with a uniden pro compact CB. works flawloessly. nice and flexible. ive bounced this antenna off of everything you can imagine. its been closed in the garage door a few times, and driven on the highway for over 1000 miles now. still works like new. i havent even had to retune it.

I like that it is fiberglass yet doesn't break off like the firestick. Fit is good, works like it should, and all that....reception is pretty good. Probably about like any similar one. But it doesn't break off in the trees when off roading...did I already mention that?

I purchased two to run dual on my pickup using a co-phased harness. You are supposed to make identical tuning adjustments on each antenna but what I found is they are not electrically identical forcing one tip to be longer than the other in order to get the lowest possible SWR. Since I mounted them on the front of the bed, they are only inches from the truck cab and the fact they are not a quarter wave apart (only 68.5"), the best SWR I was able to obtain was 1.8 on channels 1 & 40 with a 1.6 on channels 19 & 20. I love the narrow profile that allows for less wind resistance and the extreme flexibility which prevented damage when I forgot to remove them before pulling into the garage. I prefer these over the fatter FireStik II which by the way had a worse SWR in the same configuration.

This took several weeks to deliver on a Prime account, so I thought I'd mention it. Two days my azz.

Outer packaging was good, no tears, no rips.

Pulled out the inner packaging. It was heavy plastic. First thing I noticed was that it was all torn up. Pulled the antenna out of the package. The tunable tip was still captured by the packaging. Set screw was no where to be found. Shook out the outer box and there it was.

The wrench supplied DID NOT fit the set screw. I tried dressing the end with a jeweler's file. No dice. Finally found a wrench I had on hand that fit the screw. I have no confidence the set screw will properly secure the tunable tip. I'll probably add an epoxy once I set the correct length.

Also, even though this antenna hasn't been mounted yet, I agree with those who've said a low hanging branch will snap it off. This looks like the cheapest of cheap from China, and I suspect it is.

I'll go to a truck stop to find a good replacement.

I ordered 2 of these and Received them both 3 days early but they look to be used because one has a set screw missing for the Tunable tip and the other is missing the wrench for the set screw and on both of them they are missing the rubber cap from the top

Antenna was fine at first, but after having it installed and driving about 1500 miles total with it, it broke down at the base under the speed. Only a foot was actually in the air, the set up was the center back of the 13' Jeep off the spare tire. Pretty disappointed that this particular Antenna could not hold up to basic travel. Wonder how much quicker it would have snapped had I been able to go Wheelin' more this year..
