EXCELLENT fire pit. Light enough to move from place to place and with the exterior ring, easy to handle. It already comes with everything you need INCLUDING a cover (which isn't mentioned in the Amazon details). On Amazon they offer a separate cover for sale and we bought one not knowing that it already came with one. We didn't need two and when I explained to Amazon, they offered a refund, but I still had to pay postage back to them. That was a rip off as I'd never have purchased the cover if they'd mentioned in in the ad. The pit is all you need and it comes with everything. It's high quality and don't buy an extra cover from Amazon.

I purchased the NC State firepit from Amazon back in 2009 and it has held up well. I had been looking at it off and on for a while and one day they had a very deep discount so I immediately purchased it. I'd suggest placing it on a stone or pavers like in the product photo so the feet don't stain your deck or patio as the oxidation continues. The firepit is just the right size for the patio or even to transport to a football tailgate. It is great for sitting around for some heat or to enjoy the fire and it is very good for roasting marshmallows. I've never used the grill top but it looks like they would work well too.

The only problem is a lack of quality covers available for this firepit or others of similar design. I've purchased two and they only last a year before the UV rays have degraded the fabric to the point that when you remove it from the pit it falls aparts. I'm still looking for a kettle grill cover that would fit. Those Weber covers would last a long time if they had the right size.

Heads up the designs you see may not be what you get the Arizona State fire pit looks nothing like the image cut outs shown. there is One Sparky, one Pitchfork, one side says "Arizona State Sun Devils" and the other says "ASU", but not with the sun in the middle.

I absolutely love this thing. It fits a ton of wood, has held up to weather, and just generally looks awesome when lit up at night. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it's well worth it.
