    I read the reviews about it being tight, but my girls have narrow feet so I thought it wouldn't be a problem. Turns out, it wasn't tight at the toes or through the ball of the foot area, but rather "small" or tight across the top of the foot - from the inner arch to the outer arch, but on the top.

    The style of the shoe is beautiful but I ordered a size up and wide and the shoes were still too narrow. I loved that the shoes were delivered so quickly. It gave me enough time to figure out how to stretch the shoes. After two days of trying everything the shoes stretched wide enough for my daughter to wear comfortably all day. I just feel like I shouldn't have had to alter the shoe since I did order them in a wide.

    Very Darling! Price is average ive checked Nordstrom and Zappos price was comparable Amazon has free shippin on purchase so I ran with this order. My daughter has a slim (not to slim but slim) long foot she is caught between sizes with designers at this point I can say I do always start with a 5.5 on all shoes and i may hav to go up a half size pending. I did order the shoe in a 5.5 and tried it on her without tight or stocking and can truly say that a 5.5 will work for the time that I need the shoe. My girl has foot spurts but i feel comfortable in saying she should get a good wear out of this shoe it gives her just enough room for a lil growth but its certainly not to big that i need to size down. I defintely recommend this shoe! The height is danty and sturdy. Enjoy

    Bought these for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas. She just moved into a size 5 so I got her a size 5. We had it in just a couple days and while it fit, there really wasn't any growing room so we shipped it back and ordered a 5½. Amazon took forever to ship the 2nd set and therefore I had to order it from somewhere else to get here in time for a party but I would say it's true to size but if you want growing room, order a half size bigger. The shoes are beautiful and the height is just perfect for her. I didn't want her looking like a streetwalker wearing high heels. An inch off the ground is good enough for a 9 year old. I also love that they buckle. Whoever thought of Velcro for an older very active child is just highly unknowledgeable. Buy these, you will surely love them. :)

MORE ACCURATELY, WHAT I SHOULD HAVE SAID IS THAT HER FEET ARE TOO BIG FOR THE SHOES. AMAZON MADE IT SO EASY TO RETURN THEM THAT I'LL DEFINITELY ORDER SOME OTHERS ONLINE AND MAYBE THE NEXT ONES WILL BE A KEEPER.     These were for a dance recital for my daughter who by the way has issues with shoes and clothes in general. She has very, very, very specific tastes on the textures she allows her body to feel. Well my wife and I always hate getting things online when it comes to her but we needed the shoes and we had procrastinated getting them sooner from a store.

    We took the chance and it worked out fine. She used them during her dress rehearsal with no complaints, and then for the show she put them on and did not complain (couldn't say the same thing about her dress LOL) .

    Great shoes, for my daughter, and just unfortunate that we got these just for a couple days use.

    I spent a long time trying to locate suitable shoes for my daughters First Holy Communion. It seems very few girls dress shoes are available in half sizes.
