Yeah, worth the money if your GM car or truck takes this type of drain plug. Might as well put a new one in there if you are changing/draining the antifreeze because if the old one leaks the fluid is more expensive. Don't be a penny pincher if you are keeping the vehicle.

When you are performing a service on a vehicle that has over 100K on it this should be replaced because the coolant will eat up the oring after time so for a couple of bucks it's worth the expense.
