This item has been a long time favorite of mine and continue to purchase it even though you can only find it in the northeast states. My only problem that i had with it was the packaging. it was packaged in a box way too big for it causing the container inside to open it and half the chocolates inside were all over the inside of the box and to make it worse....the box was not properly sealed and at least half of the contents were lost or even taken as their snacks....oh yes..it had some bubble wrap but it still did not maintain the container in place....the box was just too big...

I'm currently (far) out of Pennsylvania for graduate school, and this just made my day. A little taste of home! Who knew PA was the snack and processed food capital of the world? Peanut chews are amazingly tasty, and slightly addictive. You can never eat one.

I'm from Illinois, so would not normally be aware of this particular delectable. But thanks to Steve Almond and his book "Candy Freak", I knew that my true destiny on this plane of existence was to eat a crap load of these.

These are delicious and partially fulfill me. I'm told that when the original company that made these sold to a bigger candy company (In 2003), the quality suffered. Well... I like quality, and I'm sure the originals were amazing, but these are still damn good.

Just Born Inc. put it together very nicely. I'm glad someone has kept alive the Goldenberg's Peanut Chews from my childhood.
