The Saber VL is superbly crafted, with a Swamp Ash body and a premium AAA flame maple top. The reinforced neck is a 34-inch scale, three-piece laminate of rock maple with a custom composite black basswood two octave fingerboard and a flame maple headstock veneer matching the body. The instrument is finished in stunning high-gloss natural or transparent color and a satin neck. The hardware is black chrome, and the bridge is a unique custom carbon/graphite monolith, an individual assembly for each string which also integrates the transducer system. The Saber Bass is a lightweight, comfortable design that is familiar in feel, revolutionary in concept, and inspiring to play. The Saber Bass will enable the player to create a highly detailed bass soundscape, composed of rich complex harmonics, vocal mids, and sparkling highs, built on a foundation of strong, bold, and focused low end response.
