I've never used a Rimmel brand mascara before but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I've used it a few times now and it works really well. I typically have to use a combination of different mascaras in my routine to get the look I want (volume, length) but just a few swipes of this and I was good to go. It goes on really nicely without any clumps and looks great. For under four bucks this was a really good bargain and I'll probably get a few more to stock up for later use.

I really like how this mascara makes my eyes look, it's not clumpy or thickening even. I naturally have nice full eye lashes and this helps to bring length and a little oomph to them w/o looking all spider legged or weird. I also live that it is cheap cheap cheap! I will use a $25 mascara for special occasions, but otherwise this is my gi to for everyday, and it give the more expensive one a run for its money.

This is my holy grail mascara. I have tried other drugstore brands and even high end brands and I always go right back to this one. I don't even know why I waste the money to try new mascaras because none of them ever compare with this one. It has a slightly softer feel than other mascaras, which I like. I don't feel like my eyelashes are crunchy when I blink, if that makes sense. It stays on all day and it builds up to a really pretty, delicate, and dramatic look all at once. I highly recommend this product!

I personally favor Rimmel's mascaras above all others in the realm of affordable make up. The best mascara I have ever used in the history of my life-and for only around six bucks or so- was Rimmel's "scandaleyes" mascara. I still absolutely stand by that. You should really go and get that if you can. Even so, given the price of this, I'm still very impressed. What I love about these mascaras is the fact that they never seem to clump, even if you are an unhygienic heathen like myself and don't take it all off before applying more. I really dig that feathery, natural look. If you're into spider-legged weird lashes, look elsewhere. This does add volume and darkness. I like the brush, as it's kind of long and small-tipped and feels precise, especially for getting those tiny corner lashes. It stays on all day for me. However, I have to give it 4 stars because it doesn't add the gorgeous length the other Rimmel mascara does. Even so, if you're just looking for a super SUPER cheap add-on to score you that free shipping and don't have another 4 bucks or so, I'd absolutely go with this. It's still better than most of the other, more-pricey-but-still-cheapo mascara you get from Walmart or your drugstore, and if that's what you've been using until this point, you'll probably be really impressed.

I decided to give this a try after seeing the long list of great reviews and the low price. Recently, I had an eye infection and had to toss most of my eye makeup - i didn't want to spend much on restocking.

I found that this is great for defining my lashes - they are fairly long, but the tips are light. It's very black also, which i really like, but may be a bit too dark for some - i would recommend getting it in brown if you are blonde or want a more subtle look.

It doesn't flake and comes off easily with cleanser. However, i didn't see much of a boost in volume and certainly didn't qualify as "extreme". The brush is not the same type or shape as most high-volume mascaras - it's similar to those advertising a more natural look. Even though it doesn't live up to it's name, this is a very good mascara for an amazing price.

For the price, great quality! Easy to apply, not clumpy, and adds dark color and volume. If I'm wearing it all day, I sometimes have to apply it twice, and I use another mascara with it if I want more length, but this one does enough to enhance my everyday look.

I always use Rommel mascara and they are great. This is the first time I use this one though. Not happy at all with one it's disappointing it didn't extend my lashes at all. Waste OF money.
