The pillow itself is the best size I could find for my daughter, who just turned two, although I would have preferred it to be a little flatter. The pillowcase, however, is much bigger than the pillow and just slides off all the time! It's especially bad because the fabric is satin and therefore is very slippery. Since they don't tell you, here are the dimensions: Pillow is 10x14, Pillowcase is 12x16. I still think it's worth buying it for the price, but I just ordered a smaller pillowcase in cotton and am hoping that works better! The two brands that I found that actually have a suitably-sized pillowcase are Bucky and Cocoon. UPDATE: The "Bucky Small Duo Pillow Case" found on Amazon is perfect for this pillow. It's zippered, so it stays put, and the zipper is on the inside, so I don't have to worry about it scratching my daughter. Also, it would be very difficult for her to unzip it. Plus, it's super soft and cozy! I highly recommend buying this pillow and the separate Bucky pillowcase for your toddler.

This pillow is just the right thickness for a Toddler's head. It comes with its own pillow case (the satin part) and it's works fairly well for my 17 month-old. It's soft, comfortable and easy to clean. Most importantly (I know I'm repeating myself) is that it's not too thick or too slim for a young child, it's just right.

The only problem is the width/length of it. I would have liked it to be wider and longer on each end so it would take up more room in the crib. My daughter tosses and turns quite a bit at night (something she unfortunately inherited from both myself and her mother) and she can't stay on the pillow very long. Our solution has been to tuck the pillow into one corner of the crib (next to the bumper) so she really has only one side of the pillow to "fall off" of.

In any case, if you toddler is a sound, restful sleeper, this pillow is just right for you. In fact, my daughter likes hers so much she carries it around with her sometimes and just drops it wherever she want's to rest her head and then lays on it.

This was a little smaller than I anticipated, but my toddler LOVES it. as soon as it came out of the box she grabbed it and laid down on the floor and put her head on it. It is her very first big girl pillow and boy does she love it. She sleeps with her head on it every night, even though before we switched to her toddler bed she flipped around in bed all directions. Now she just lays nice with her head on the little satin pillowcase.

She likes it so much that I bought a second one for her to have and take to daycare for when she naps there. Also, this is at least $3.00 cheaper than the ones in the stores. So if you have prime shipping or free shipping somehow, I would definitely choose this over the one available at Target.

I see reviews of people saying the pillow comes out of the case too easily. I do wish it had a velcro closure, but I do not find that it is "always" sliding out of the cover. I shake it back in tight every night before I put my daughter to bed and it never comes out. But I also pulled apart the filling inside a little which probably fluffed it up.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is no velcro or zipper closure to keep the pillow in the case, and that it is a bit smaller than the one at Target. I thought it would be a little bigger. Otherwise, GREAT product, and I recommend it for you!

I had to agree with the other reviews of this item - the pillow is great, but the pillowcase needs to go. The pillow is the perfect size and height for my 20-month-old, and I watch him hug it on the monitor as he's falling asleep. The satin pillowcase is soft and sweet, but much too slippery to stay on the pillow and I know it will just be a distraction at bedtime. Taking the advice of other reviewers, I purchased the Bucky Small Duo pillow case at the same time, which ended up being the PERFECT size and also has a zipper so that the pillow will stay neatly inside. Very happy overall with my purchase, though the folks at NOJO would do well to maybe add a zipper to their satin case if they insist on using such a slippery fabric.

Perfect size for preschooler with limited space in cubby at preschool. We didn't use the pillow case that came with (the feel of a "satin" case creeps me out), bought some plain cotton cases instead. We wash the pillow weekly, and it's holding up just fine.

This pillow is teeny tiny! It looks like a toy for my 18 month old, not a pillow. I immediately thought it looked like a baby doll pillow. My mom thought it looked like an infant coffin pillow. My son has been stealing the pillow from my husband and I so I thought he was ready, but didn't need one so huge. This is a joke and if he didn't like trying to pull the pillowcase off so much I'd return it but he likes it... as a toy. Ugh. I'll head to Target and just buy him an actual pillow.

I got this pillow for my 22 mo old son when we transitioned him into his toddler bed. The pillow comes with its own satin pillowcase which is GREAT for curly or dy hair like his BUT the pillow isn't flat at all. Toddler pillows should be flatish. Needless to say my son doesn't use his pillow.
