I am very happy with the purchase of the case cover for my MBP 13 inch (newest version)!!!
It does its job and looks good. Not a silk touch case, really is a hard cover case in two parts: one for the top and 1 (aerated) for the bottom.
It does not heat up the laptop.
Also not heavy or bulky feeling in my opinion.
I also bought the silicone keyboard in red from the same seller (iPearl Inc) and the combo looks great together.
Definitely recommend this cover case and the seller (item was very well packaged in a transparent reusable plastic pouch).

The mCover fit well, you need to be aware of the two tabs on the bottom rear that needs to be set in first, before you snap the rest of the cover on. Once that is done, the rest snaps on nice and tight. I really like the two rear snap-out feet to allow for more cooling of the laptop. Get it, it's cheaper than Speck's covers, but is just as good (even better, if you consider the snap-out feet, and more thorough cut-outs for venting heat).

I looked at other possibilities for a hard case for our new MacBook Pro and after reading reviews chose this one. More than one person commented on the Speck case cracking, and while of course a defective product is not common, you never know when you could get one from the same production run. The iPearl case seemed like very good quality at a very good price. We've only had it a couple of weeks and no problems so far. It fit perfectly, was easy to snap on, and has a clever venting system on the bottom with little feet for necessary cooling. We also purchased the keyboard skin cover in red to match. So the MacBook is now kitted out in style and my daughter is thrilled!

I purchased this for my new (2012) MacBook pro. It fits great and looks awesome. People ask how did you get a red laptop from Apple? I love it keeps my MacBook looking new. Deff prefer this over a skin that only covers the top. Being a picky person I like everything looking perfect. Worth the money for sure. Here is a hint when putting it on there are two tabs that need to go on first other then that it was easy install. Nice feel to it as well. Does not get hot after hours of use.

This laptop cover looked flimsy and plastically. but it snapped on really easy and turned out to be a tight fit. defiantly worth the 20$ rather than the other cases for 50-100$ also makes your laptop a different color. I would also recommend getting a matching keyboard cover for about 1-2$ with your purchase because they will match. overall great case. flaps fold out making it easier to type and better air flow. great for gaming too.
