Boy, was I terribly disappointed when these valances arrived. The design of the fabric is adorable & the colors are vibrant, but this is just a hemmed piece of bedsheet. The valance isn't lined, so the sunlight will come right through the fabric - it might as well be a sheer. For the quality, these valances are SEVERELY overpriced. I can buy a piece of cotton fabric from a craft store for a couple of dollars & run a hem across the top & bottom and have the same effect. If these weren't the exact colors & design I was looking for, I'd return them. Instead, I'm adding a liner to them, even though I already blew sixty-six dollars on the pair.

Bought this set for my daughter's room when she was born. It is a little pricey, but cute and unique! When I was pregnant with my daughter everything we saw was pink or purple, and I wanted something a little different. The Cotton Tail Designs Lizzie pattern is perfect for what we were looking for; it is girly without being monotone!! We ended up buying two valances to fit the length of the window, as the window we had was long. I highly encourage anyone to purchase this!

I wasn't very pleased with the crib set i bought to match this, but the valance is pretty - i do like the fabric print... but its about a yard of fabric, so the price is ridiculous for such a thing. I wish there wasn't such a premium on cute baby things, but i guess these companies know that new parents are suckers for expensive, cutesy nursery furnishings!!!

I love them. I bought them for my daughter's bedroom. They look great. I do not have a sewing machine. I could not make these myself. Yes, they are a little pricey. Especially if you think you can make them yourself. But, since I could not make them, these were perfect for me. They make me happy every time I see them. I love the colors. And I have been able to use all of the great colors for many accent pieces, for example a green and turquoise lamp, red shades to go underneath, red and pink canvas storage bins, etc. Lots of options.

I have to agree with the reviewer who mentions the thin-ness of this piece. I totally agree. It is VERY cute and the colors are vibrant and pretty but there is just nothing to this valance. Had I known the quality I probably would've just headed to the fabric store and found a remnant to make my own for nearly 1/2 the cost. Disappointing.
