The absolute largest readout available today on a body fat scale! The viewing area of the Salter MAX-View� is a super sized 7.5� wide by 4.3� tall. There is no need to worry about foot placement and seeing the readout�. The MAX-View takes all the measurements and then beeps when completed. The user will then step off the scale and all the measurements are held on the readout for 10 seconds. This scale measures body fat, body water, calculates BMI (body mass index, what doctors mostly use), and assesses BMR -- the basal metabolic rate (or the amount of calories your particular body naturally burns each day, if no other exercise was done). Indicators also light when the appropriate number is being displayed. The stunning black and stainless steel platform is large enough plus the scale has a high capacity of 400 lbs. Batteries included
