I LOVE the look, but....

I have wanted one of these diaper bags since my first daughter was born, but never wanted to shell out the cash. I finally gave in when I wash shopping for the arrival on my second daughter.

We have been using this bag for 2 months now, and while it is extremely cute and fashionable, there are a few things I would change.

1. While the shiny plastic works well for the outside of the bag to be able to clean it easily, it does nothing for a struggling mom with her hands full. This diaper bag is always sticking to doors when I am struggling my way out of doctors offices, etc. It's just annoying.

2. The bottle holder cooler only holds a bottle, not an ice pack or anything else, but I have another bottle holder cooler that holds a bottle ice pack, and paci.

3. The changing pad should have velcro or snaps to keep it folded. The tie straps are such a pain when you have so many other things to accomplish on a bathroom trip with an infant and a toddler on a long shopping trip day or any other long getaway day.

There are plenty of pockets on the inside, but it would be nice to have a few on the outside for convience items.

If I had to buy another diaper bag, I would buy a better designed one who kept busy mommies in mind.

Not worth the money...

I bought this bag about 7 months ago and use it everyday. The plastic laminate is cracked on the corners and the strap is beginning to come loose from the bag. It wasn't worth the money I spent on it.

Looks isn't everything in life!

I purchased this diaper bag (mine is a different design, just as cool looking) and have been using it for 10 months. A review shouldn't be about the order itself or wither you like the style or not or if you think it will be a great gift, that's not the point. Anyway, sorry...
After almost a year of use, I can truly give my opinion.
The plus: it holds up very well. The plastic is barely starting to crack on the bottom corners, which is expected for such material.
it will be a show stopper, people cannot help themselves commenting on how nice your bag is, it can be a plus or a minus on that, depending on how people friendly you are. I like attention, so it's a plus for me :)
the inside is roomy enough for diapers, outfit, hootter hider, small blanket, a few toys and your things
the outside material makes it impossible to really get dirty, the colors stay vibrant and the bag still looks new after 10 months of use.

The minus: it doesn't have enough pockets, just 3 on the side, no zippered pockets
the side pockets are not deep enough, or wide enough, they just don't hold your bottle super great. It has a flap that is pointless if you use it to put your bottle in it. Even a pen sticks out.
forget about snapping the top flap, by the time you find the little snap, baby will need a diaper and you'll have to reopen it. I lost my wallet in a cart because I can't close the top more securely.
the changing pad is a joke, who is going to use a cute little bow after you have had a major blow out and poop on your hands?!
it doesn't have an outside back or front pocket, where you can just slide a diaper, or where the changing pad should really go.Read more ›

Great baby bag!!!!!!

i bought four sets of these by accident. I was going to cancel but then thought about all the baby showers and gifts I would be able to give. I was hoping that they would be worth the money and I was not let down. Each mother was so surprised since they knew the cost of Kalencom and the quality. I totally did not let them know that I got them on sale through Amazon. These come with a bottle holder, small zipper bag, and a changing pad. They are super easy to clean and hold up very well. Amazon is my go to for baby showers, Christmas gifts, etc.. I would never hesitate to purchase again. High quality!!!!!!

Cute but wasn't practical!

I love this print but the style of diaper bag just didn't work for me. There are no pockets and I just function better with pockets to keep things organized. I would reach in for something and my keys or something else would fall out. It was a mess. I switched to the SkipHop Studio diaper bag and I am in love! I definitely recommend that if you want pockets!

I bought this bag in November 2014. In January the buckle broke. I didn't do anything about it at first, but finally it started to get worse and worse not being able to close an overfilled bag (moms you can imagine). I called Amazon to return it but it was past the return date. I called Kalencom and they were so nice and friendly , they actually sent me a brand new bag free of charge for my trouble. I like how unique the designs are. I have a funky style and don't want a boring diaper bag. I would change the changing pad. It's not very thick. My kate spade diaper bag has a really nice thick one that has snaps that hold it when you can fold it up. This one is really thin and kinda poor quality. I love the bottle holder and the pockets on the inside. All in all it's cool ,but possibly not worth the price? Get it when it goes on sale
