I like to use a lighter to twist my stringers into shapes. These stringers are so thick you can only use them as straight lines.

Fine stuff. Melts well. Unfortunatly, if youre using a micro kiln, get some glass fusing glue first to apply these bits since they go everywhere when the turn table starts moving. Just a small jiggle of the microwave and you're done.
