Received my roll bar pad today and proceeded to install it. The instructions seemed to be a little incorrect when it gets to installing the pads that go over the roll bars above the door. Rather than fold the windshield down to access these bars, it's easier to remove the bolts that secure them to the center roll bar.

It also states that you'll need to puncture holes into the cover to allow for the seat belt bolts, but this isn't needed, as the zippers leave a gap in this area, fitting perfectly. You will need to make 4 holes to reattach the door roll bars back to the center bar, though.

the only other holes I needed were for the soundbar to reattach.

Overall, the installation was OK. I did it alone, and it took about an hour and a half, total removing old pads included.

The quality seems acceptable, but the test of time will prove that, or not. The zippers seem a bit fragile, but the material looks like it will hold up pretty well.

Covers a family style roll bar for YJs. It looks good and it feels good. It is a kind of charcoal static like black close up but whatever. I had to make holes for the front bars to attach to the rest of the roll bar but it was easy to just poke two holes. The padding was thin but I don't know what to compare it to and it did make a big difference.

This product was a disappointment for the most part. I installed it correctly and found that the side roll bar portion is cut wrong. There is a cut made to accomodate for the seat belt mount and front roll bar but it is about 8 inches away from where it should have been. I had to cut that thing about another 8 inches and then sew the material back together around the roll bar to make it snug. It doesnt look too bad after i modified it.

Very frustrating! Spent a while trying to figure out how to put this on my jeep, directions were not great. Came to the conclusion that it won't work. Not even close. I have a 94 YJ. Amazon said this would fit. It does not. Thank goodness for their easy return policy... it's going back. Quality seemed to be okay for the price and the color was good. Didn't care to much for the padding... barely glued here and there to the cover and the zippers kept coming undone easily.

I'm rating this four stars based on the quality against the price. If you're wanting quality with NO install issues, than buy a Bestop! Don't complain when you're paying half the price. These are more to just cover up the bare bars. The padding is thin but gives a lot of character to your Jeep. The only issue I had on the install was where the bars all come together. I had about 6" of slack and couldn't zip it because of the bar that runs across the door to the windshield was hindering it. I took the bar off and ran the cover all the way down and then cut small holes so that I could bolt the bar above the door back on. I didn't however have to cut a hole for the seat belt bolt, the two pieces split right where the bolt is. I have a 1992 so I'm not to worried about it looking pristine. That is all folks! Cheers

removed the last of the OEM pads. and noticed right away the difference in quality. plus its a wrinkle fit with lots of modifications. this is due to the item broad fit to many wranglers . not year specific as it should be . the red flag whipped when I got a call from the manufacture validating my vehicle year. was told they don't trust amazon.

These were not anything of what I expected. They are cheap and there is hardly any padding in them at all. The zippers dont stay together either. I guess you get what you paid for so they will do for now.
