I ordered this items twice and both times received an item that did not match the description. The item number I received was correct for the order, but the screws in the packet did not have the dimensions listed in the title. They were 1.5" long vs 1".

while quality and price were good, the items i received were NOT SHOULDERED thumb-screws like the picture. a small but important difference. a replacement item was the same. clearly amazon has the wrong picture.

The photo shows a washered thumb screw, which is what I expected to receive. What I received is a plain thumb screw with no washer and does not work very well in my application. To bad the photo doesn't match the item you are selling.

This does not look anything like the product that was shipped to me. Here is what you get. The screw I was replacing had a tension spring. Now the spring goes all the way in to the knurled part and is not effective. What a disappointment!

there is no lip under the head like it shows. So if you what it because of the lip do not buy it.

These are exactly what they say they are. Pay attention to the dimensions when ordering, as the picture is a stock photo and is not representative of the proportions of the ones I got; the heads on mine are broader and flatter. Although I expected something slightly different, mine will work fine for what I'm doing. The finish is quite plain and utilitarian; I'm thinking of polishing the faces of mine, as they're pretty crudely finished and they'll be seen. Nice precise threads, well made, good checkering. Simple, honest part.

As others have said, not as pictured or same as pdf. The bolt I was looking for has a shoulder like the drawing and would work perfectly for me. It is the same as all other dimensions listed, 1" length 3/4" knurl and has about 3/16" unthreaded by the knurl. Strange thing is I ordered the 3/4" length and it is a shoulder bolt but with the smaller diameter knurl of 1/2". Too bad these are expensive and would like if they could update the specs to match the product since a lot of customers have complained. Some of us are looking for a shoulder bolt thumbscrew and don't want to be misled by the wrong drawing.

Update: I ordered the 1-1/4" length 1/4-20 with 3/4" knurl, same issues with the 1" length. Looks like the 1/2" knurl is the only one with the shoulder like the picture. I'm really disappointed these are different than the drawings, such a waste of time and money.

The screws arrived exactly as described in the CAD diagrams and appear to be good quality items. The problem is that the main page makes it very difficult to find the right item: a variety of shapes are all listed with the same specification. You have to find all lines matching the general description of your screw, click on each line to bring up a new page, then click on the "Downloads CA Models, MSDS, Manuals" box on the left-hand side of the page and download the CAD diagram (I used 2D PDF) in which measurement of head size and actual length are clearly marked (and it becomes clear that "Overall Length" means the length of the screw excluding the head).
