Seems to work fine. I had the same thing from, Tipton and it broke at the threads. It was a pain to get the threaded end out of the rod, but I eventually got it out. I replaced it with this Dewey offering which is beefier at the base of the loop. No problems thus far. Overall, I now choose Dewey over Tipton every time.

was looking for one of these but in a non metal material.couldnt find one so...... brass is a soft metal so this will do. it showed up on time, fits my carbon fiber cleaning rod and holds patches well. if i have any problems with it .........time will tell.
