The quality of this product is so poor that a Snapple bottle is sturdier than this globe. For the price you pay for this item you should get a lot more. The thing is 8" high and arrives in a box over two feet tall. I'm very disappointed with this product.

I thought it would have been bigger and its super fragile. Feel unsafe every time I grab it. Wish it would have been a little more sturdy as I bought it as a gift and I felt like the product seemed cheap.

This is a very nice decanter. It is the most popular piece in my bar currently. Unfortunately, it is very lightweight and extremely fragile. It really feels like it's just a matter of time before someone inadvertently breaks it, and that will be a sad day. I was a little disappointed as soon as I felt it in my hand. It needs to be thicker.

I loved this decanter. It was a bit smaller than i thought for the price but it is nice. Be very careful with it because it is made of very this glass. It was packaged very well so there was no fear of transport.

The etching of the globe was spot on and my dad loved it.

Price was a little high considering the size but overall good purchase

I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 and here is why:

Pros: it looks fantastic.
It is a decent size. It isn't tiny. But it isn't stupidly massive. Maybe half or 2/3 the size of a regular globe stand? I'd say it could hold about half to 2/3 of a bottle of wine.
It comes pretty well-packaged. Thick styrofoam around each part, thick cardboard strips around cardboard, and double boxed.
Lightweight

Cons: it is VERY thin glass. It is very very fragile and lightweight and feels like you'd need to display it in a place where it won't get knocked off. When taking it out of the packaging, it feels like it could easily break in your hand.

But all in all it is very very neat.
