Invicta 4607 Pro Diver - Beautiful Watch, June 20, 2008
The watch comes in a beautiful yellow box with all manuals and warranty documents. It worked right out of the box, and I was stunned at its beauty. This is my second INVICTA. I also own an INVICTA sub diver series watch.
The craftsmanship, finish and detail of the Pro Diver 4607 (43 Series) watch is second to none in this price category or any category for that matter, unless your willing to pay thousands for a watch. I paid around $175 for it.
It's fully automatic so it doesn't need a battery, it's water resistant to 200 meters (see my update below) and I believe it uses the reliable Japanese Miyota automatic movement. The calendar date magnifier allows you to see the date clearly. The two-tone stainless steel bracelet is fine but, personally I would prefer a heavier gauge metal bracelet.
I highly recommend this INVICTA watch for people who like striking, elegant Pro diver style watches. This is a watch I will cherish for years to come.
Update:
This watch unfortunately didn't live up to its name (Pro Diver) rated at 200m or 660ft. The first time I went snorkelling with it the watch face immediately filled with water and the watch stopped working. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I didn't just purchase this watch for looks, but assumed it was rugged enough to withstand a bit of snorkelling in fresh water.
I would have to question to what extent the watch was pressure tested prior to going on sale. In any event, I sent the watch off for repairs under warranty and 7 weeks later received the watch back from Invicta in working order. This is my second Invicta and both have failed in the water although claiming 100m and 200m water resistance (See my review on the Sub diver). By comparison all my Casio and Seiko watches claim 100m water resistance and all have been in the water on numerous occasions and none have ever taken on water!
Unfortunately, my next dive watch purchase will probably not be an Invicta.

Poor Quality Control!, October 12, 2009
This watch promised much when I opened the box, but unfortunately, falls short of delivering on the promise. This timepiece, the Invicta 4607 is a beautiful watch, comparable in size to the Seiko Monster offering, with a two tone gold and stainless case and bracelet. I opened the box, sized the bracelet (easy operation), gave it the requisite ten windings, set the time, and wore the watch for the remainder of the day, approx. 15 hours. I changed watches and wore my Seiko Orange Monster next, and when I went to change back to the 4607, the watch had stopped about two hours before I wore it again, about 20 hours after removing it. I assumed the watch had stopped because I had not given it a chance to fully wind. I unscrewed the crown, felt it pop out as it should, and tried to wind it. Here is when things went wonky. I could not wind the watch in the position the stem achieved when it released from the screw crown-it kept changing the date! I set the date and the time ( at this point, the watch was running from being handled), returned the crown to its screwed in position, and attempted to wind the watch again. No good-the date kept changing again! I repeated this process again with the same result. Finally, I unscrewed the crown, and this time the date changed AGAIN without the crown and stem popping out! I pulled the crown out to the last detent (time setting position), pushed it back past the the date setting position, and only then was I finally able to manually wind the watch. Now, whenever I unscrew the crown, the date changes without any provocation, and I must play hunt and seek to find the proper position to wind the watch or set the time. This watch is a classic example of "getting what you pay for." I own an Invicta 8926, which has been an excellent watch, and the reason I purchased the 4607. With Invicta's warranty shipping policy, coupled with the fact that I paid less than half the price currently being offered by Amazon (and I purchased from Amazon, not a marketplace merchant), it does not make financial sense to be bothered to send the watch for repairs. Instead, I have a beautiful watch that brings only aggravation. Stay away from this product, and buyer beware when purchasing an Invicta product-your eyes are your bargain.

Great deal, December 28, 2009
Watch is a great value for the money. Amazon had the lowest price by far. I like the automatic feature however you have to reset the watch if you don't wear it for more than a day.
