I was looking for a bucket where I did not have to wring the mop by hand every time I tried to mop. My entire downstairs of my 3k home is tile flooring and carrying a mop and a bucket was such a hassle. Bought a similar item from the home improvement store and it was almost the same price but the wringer was such low quality I returned it. The rubbermaid brand was really expensive. This was by far the best price online and the best purchase I made to clean the tile floring. I only wished the wheels had a break so that I did not have to lean it against a wall when wringing, but so far I am extremely happy with my purchase. Even the weekly cleaning service has been using it and they are able to finish the cleaning much faster. The shipping was super fast. Highly recommended.

I bought this mop bucket and wringer for the purpose of washing laundry. I am poor and can not afford a washing machine. Been using a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket with a plunger and a hole cut in the lid. I didn't have the strength, stamina or patience to get much water out when wringing by hand, and it hurt my wrists. If I hang sopping wet clothes on the line they take forever to dry, especially during the cooler part of the year.

Anyway, the bucket and wringer arrived this morning, and this evening I washed two days worth of clothing and some bedding for two people. Didn't take too long. I left the wheels off the bucket and I put the bucket in the shower when doing laundry in it.

The wringer they sent me closes to within an inch of the interior wall. It doesn't take out quite as much water as an electric washing machine's spin cycle, but it takes A LOT more out than I could by hand-wringing. (I wring each item with the wringer 3 times or so.) Such a relief, and good enough for me.

Next laundry purchase will probably be a washboard, to cut down on soak time for work clothes.

Want to lower your electric bill? This bucket/wringer combo and a clothesline will save you BIG TIME.

I will update this review in a few months with a longevity report.

Wow! We ordered it Monday and it was delivered Wednesday! Impressed with the heavy-duty quality of the plastic and the wringer mechanism. We researched extensively to find what we were looking for. This bucket/wringer combo is perfect. Actually, we are not going to use it as a mop bucket. It will be a key element in an off-grid, clothes washing system...along with a "breathing hand washer" plunger. It looks like it would make a really good mop bucket, too. You won't be disappointed. MADE IN THE USA!

The size of the bucket is great, but the plastic is not hard enough. Because of this issue, when you are wringing out the mop, the wringing unit slips to the right side (the side with the pressure from the handle). The wheels are great (non-marring), but the unit does not have a handle for helping one to dump the waste-water from the bucket. Also, the wringing unit is difficult to remove from the bucket... because of the soft plastic issue. I purchased two of these for our commercial bakery, but am disappointed in them. For the price, I thought they were a great value; then I used them. Ugh! You get what you pay for.

I was looking for an ordinary mop bucket but I found more than I expected here, in terms of quality. This thing really can't be beat. Very sturdy construction. My only criticism is that even though it's an easy assembly, there was no documentation given at all, and it was rather difficult assembling the wheels into the bucket base. (Had to really hammer them in pretty good). All but 5 minutes of assembly though and the wringer arm is made of metal for those who are wondering. Very sturdy, tried this out already and I am very satisfied with it.

I really can't add to the good stuff that's already been said about this mop bucket. It is a wonderful thing! My use for it is to have something to wring out clothes when/if the time comes that we no longer have electricity. And the way the world is shutting down, it might not be that much longer. I looked at several other mop buckets while at Lowe's the other day and none of them were as well made and were more expensive even if you count in the shipping cost for this mop bucket. What I was mainly looking for was a mop squeezer mechanism that would get very close the the outside wall when squeezed to get the maximum water out of clothes (and mops too, but I'm thinking squeezing water out of clothes and then hanging them up to dry and I don't want them holding much water and dripping). I took a chance on buying this mop bucket sight unseen, based on the great reviews it already got and the low price. I was very happy to see it when I opened the box and took it out.

Strong construction, I expect it to last for years. And DANG!! I ordered it on Sunday night and I got it Tuesday afternoon! That is some fast shipping!

Cutest little thing. So happy it is a manageable size. I was afraid it would be one of those monsters you see in large stores. The wheels, as already mentioned, are somewhat difficult to attach.

I bought it to wring clothes. I did think some would be a little drier than they are. Heavier material, towels for example, could be squeezed better than I was able to do it. No matter...I still really like it. It does do the job, and I am happy to have it.

I am a senior, with hands that don't work so well at times, and I am still able to lift this into the tub to empty it. One thing I did not think of when deciding to buy this, is that I had to empty it somewhere. So think of how you will do that.
You can also just use it in the tub and tip it over to empty. But then you will have to lift it out anyway. I only mention this because it really is well made, thus it has a little weight and heft to it. Not bad at all, just something to consider if you aren't a spring chicken anymore!

All in all, it does the job and I smile when I look at it, because it is so cute.

*** Update *** It took me a little while to realize that you can simply and easily remove the wringer part (where a lot of the weight is) in order to make the bucket lighter to lift up and down, in and out of tub or wherever. All you need to do is slide the wringer part up and out of the 2 grooves that attach it to the bucket. Very, very easy.
