The Thule 516 Prologue Fork Mount Rooftop Bike Carrier 1-Pack makes it easy to carry one bike on your limited-use factory rack. The 516 Prologue Fork Mount Carrier offers stable and secure transport for your bike with a Prologue fork mount with a One-Key lock cylinder and a strong and level extended 38-inch ride-on adapter bar to fit securely to your factory rack.

The 516 Prologue Fork Mount Carrier is equipped with single wall, aluminum wheel trays that fit tire widths of up to 2.6 inches and wheelbases of up to 48 inches. The Prologue fork mount fits all disc/suspension combinations with standard 9-millimeter axles and it is approved for carbon fiber forks, making this one of the most versatile bike mounts available. One One-Key lock cylinder is included to lock the bike to the carrier and the carrier to the rack, and the rack is compatible with the Thule One-Key System (sold separately) for additional security and convenience.

Loading and unloading the 516 Prologue is easy. The 516 Prologue sets up with universal mounting hardware and the locking skewer and oversized intuitive-grasp clamping lever are simple to operate. Built to last a lifetime, the rack's locking skewer is constructed out of non-corrosive, stainless steel, and the sleek and stylized mounting head is constructed of high-strength nylon composite.

This is a very nice product with high quality components. Warning, Item description says it will fit factory roof racks.... this is ONLY true if your factory bars are LESS than 1.25" wide. My Expedition's factory roof rack bars are 2.5" wide, I had to "adapt" it by drilling holes into my front bar to make it work. Good Luck !

Installation was a breeze, first time putting a bike on was a little tricky. The tightening bolt is tough to tighten initially, hard to grip if you are 'reaching' or the weather is cold. Rack looks great though and now I've got the hang of it I am very happy. Also recommend locks to secure rack and bike.
For the price, no complaints at all.

Works great. Holds the bike at speeds up to 80 mph, attaches to the rest of the rack w/ no problems. Cheaper than ebay.
