This light and magnifier combo is a great item. It works very well for my cross stitching. I can remove the clippable part from the weighted base and it is not too heavy to hold my hoop when stitching. I am very pleased. There are 2 light levels as well which I was unaware of when I made the order. The flexible arms on the magnifier and light are very handy as well and work great. Very glad I finally bought this item.

This is an amazing and versatile craft light. It has made a big difference to me in my cross stitch or fine work. I did end up with the wrong adapter for it to plug in to the wall. Make sure you order the 37372 Mighty Bright Led Ac Adapter. The one that came up showing most people buy... was the wrong model for the Mighty Bright Vusion Craft Light, and can't work.

I purchased this in teal. It comes with 3 AAA batteries. The 2 LED lights are bright; you have the option of using both lights at the same time or one at a time. The adjustable magnifying glass is very clear. The base has a strong magnet in it, is heavy, and can be removed if you want to take advantage of the clip. The magnetic base will work with the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Craft Light - Purple, too. The light will also stand w/o the base. It seems too heavy to clip onto a paperback book, but could clipped onto a coat, a sheet (if you're reading in bed), a headboard, a purse...well, you get the idea. This adapter Mighty Bright AC Adapter for Triple L.E.D. Music Light can be purchased if you don't want to use batteries. This is a nifty light.

At almost 50 years old, my near vision is not as good as it used to be, especially when working on small, detailed needlework. I love the combination of a magnifying glass & a light, especially for dark fabric. This was the best price I could find on the web & it arrived very quickly!

I bought this light to clip on to my cross stitch frame. It's perfect! Gives me a nice bright light right where I need it. Because of it's flexibility, I can adjust it, stitch a while and then move it to the next spot. The light doesn't interfere with anyone else in the room, I always make sure to tip the light just a bit so that it's tilted away from where my husband sits....don't want to mess up his TV viewing! :) I did purchase the AC adapter for this, as I didn't want to mess with needing to replace batteries. But, if the need ever arises, I could insert batteries and use it.

I really like this. I wish the light was a bit stronger, but it does what I need. I use it for coloring. I can either have it on the desk, or I can clip it to my clipboard or something around me. Last night, I clipped it on the book I was using. Whenever I was coloring a section, I put the light on that section. I used the magnifying glass a couple times, it is something I have to get used to. The arms, aren't stiff enough, but I think you can work with it. You can plug the light in, but you have to buy it separate. I wish that it came with the wall unit plug in. I haven't had any major issues with it. Overall, I am pleased with this product.

Couldn't decide whether to give it 3 or 4 stars.
This is a cute little lamp. I was a little shocked when I opened the package because I expected it to be a little larger, but after thinking about it, it is pretty true to the photo size in the description. It has only about a 4" radius of light, so just for looking at an immediate area. You can move the light & magnifier around to adjust them to the position you need and can use batteries or the adapter which I purchased separately. I would recommend this lamp as everyone has different needs.
