Why is it that when purchasing even the simplest, smallest things, we all need to verify the quality of these products because, as my dad says, "things just aren't made like they used to be"?? I've held on to my old, cheap trusty (admittedly, sometimes dusty) measuring spoons for 8 years now, and I've bought other sets over and over again (sometimes expensive!) only to be disappointed in the quality and construction, especially after use in the dishwasher. Well, this set of measuring spoons is of very good quality for the price, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I try to stay away from plastic when I can, so stainless steel was a must for me. These are of a much heavier weight than my old cheapo stainless set, and they have thicker handles that should better resist bending. If my old set can withstand 8 years of dishwasher use, I'm assuming these should, too (although that remains to be seen). What I like best about these spoons is that the site of connection is not visible; there is no line, crease, or crack where the handle and scoop meet, allowing for better durability and less likelihood of rust. I also like that the measurements (both in "spoon" and in ml) are highly visible and engraved along the handle. Of course, this is all first impression, and only time will tell as to how well these hold up in the dishwasher, but after researching reviews on Amazon, I think these will be just fine.

Update: I have used these spoons for months now, always putting them in the dishwasher after use, and they still look like new. These really are great measuring spoons!

The spoons pictured are deep and circular, with a smaller circumference; the kind I like. The spoons I received are shallow, oval, and wide. These won't fit in spice bottles and won't hold liquid well. I am disappointed at the wasted time and will be returning to purchase the kind I want from a different seller.

These measuring spoons are a great value for the price. I am considering purchasing a second set. I like the size as they fit easily into the baking powder & baking soda containers. They are also sturdy. Unlike my original set, it will take a lot of pressure to bend these.

My one complaint is that the handles seem rather sharp on the edges & if you have dry skin I think it will be easy to get paper cut style cuts on your fingers. If they'd polished/rounded the edges a little more this set would be perfect.

The spoons I received are not round as shown in the picture but more of an oblong or egg shape. Would not have purchased them if the piucture was correct.

Product took much longer to be delivered than claimed when the order was placed, and it does not match the photograph on the website (elliptical spoon bowls instead of circular, handles are stamped and symmetrical rather than having a flat, notched appearance). Might be aluminum though that's hard to tell. I suppose they will work OK as measuring spoons, but this is not the product I thought I had ordered.

I was thrilled when I received these because they weren't heavy. I prefer lightweight measuring spoons because I can hold them easily while working with ingredients and not worry about them getting in the way. These are medium weight. What I don't like about them is they appear to be poorly constructed in that the edges of the round parts aren't even, but have jagged edges. I suppose I can work around that since there are no children in the home.

I needed a set because my wife was not happy that I used the kitchen measuring spoons to measure my fertilizers etc. So I bought these. They are so well constructed that she stole mine and I had to buy a second set. I also like the fact that they show ml's as well as american units of tsp and tbl's.
