This is a light duty stand. I only had one light hanging on it. Not sure of the reliability of the plastic parts but if you treat it well it should hold up. But it isn't heavy and it's easy to set up and it was just what I needed.

I found the 9' stand to be sturdy and reliable. I wish they had drilled holes in the top bar. This would have made the stand much more useful with other applications.
It is very thick, and sturdy however, and only reduced the product to 4 stars because it can be unruly to carry and again, more functional with drilled application holes on the top bar.

Did not get original product ordered. Offered an upgrade from Bulb America, these were the replacement. The stands are very thin and flimsy. I would be concerned with their stability holding anything more than a couple of basic can lights. The knob broke within 1 minute of trying to adjust it. Not worth the money.

It's pretty sturdy, but it should come with more attachment bolts. It doesn't come with a case or a carrying bag so losing pieces is easy. The horizontal bar is very short. Good product though.
