The kiwido are well made, and my children enjoy swinging them. I found the instructional CD difficult to navigate and unclear. The same instructions can be found at the manufacturer's web site. As an adult hoping for arm exercise, I get bored with swinging the kiwido before my arms get tired.

They are soft so minimal damage if you hit yourself. (which you will) They swing well and have a good weight on them which help with tricks. The CD rom that comes with it is pretty bad though. They show you moves but do NOT teach you how to do them. (You can watch you tube and be given actual instruction to do those moves.) The ribbons are a little bit too long, especially if a child is using them since they will be shorter with smaller arm span, but the overall value of this was great. These are one of our favorite poi sets and we have many different kinds.
