I have 3 of them. For darks, whites and sheets. Hampers are pretty sturdy and reliable. I drag them two at a time to laundry place at our complex, where i have some stairs and they seem to go down and up the stairs without any drama. I bought these hampers right here on amazon, through this seller and i wish i would have done some research at my local Target because i paid almost double price for shipping than the cost of hampers. And later i saw them at Target - even a few bucks cheaper than here at amazon.com

These aren't trendy and cool-looking baskets, but they are among the most practical, useful things that I've ever bought. If you have to cart your laundry to a laundry room or laundromat, this will save your time and your back. Each holds two loads of laundry, which helps, and with three, you can keep things sorted by darks, whites, and colors or whatever combination works for you. I've used mine for about a year, rolling them across an asphalt parking lot and an old sidewalk, and they're holding up well. For apartment dwellers and those of us who are older, these are a boon -- one of those things that you think, "Why didn't somebody think of this long ago?" I'm glad they finally did.

The whole back side curves inward about 4 inches and reduces the capacity by about 20-30%. There is a huge amount of wasted space. Also, if you overfill the hamper, the curved backside bends and the handle pops out the back, so you cannot overfill this hamper. It looks like it will hold a lot of laundry, but it actually does not hold very much in my opinion. I feel like I am walking a big piece of plastic with a tiny bit of clothes. I would not recommend this to anyone who needs to efficiently walk a lot of laundry to the laundromat. Also, the handle is short, which causes the hamper to hit my heels and tip over while I am walking down the street. I am over 6 feet tall, so that might not be so bad for shorter people.

There are three in this package. Each one has a lid you snap into place and a retractable handle. I use one for whites, one for colors, and (don't laugh) one for garbage. It is really perfect for garbage because it is light weight, has holes for air, sturdy, and has the handles and wheels. This is not cheap plastic. It is pretty tough.

With the wheels and extendable handle it is very easy to get the heavy load to where she needs to go. It is very durable and flexible to resist breaking the plastic. With the lid, it makes it easy to not have things on top falling out as you transport.
