despite what the write up says about these subs dont let the 50hz tunning of these subs scare ya, these subs can and will get low! I am very impressed so far with these subs, now i have not hooked them up to 3,000 rms of power yet but i am giving them around 1200 rms and these subs bang! Im using a prefab box i got from attrend till i can build my own and wow is all i can really say. these subs hit clean and loud. I had 8 8" american bass vfl subs in my truck and i can tell ya that these two subs are way louder! I cant wait to get a second amp and build my custom box to see what these things can really do. My only warning is make sure your electrical is up to snuff. These subs are thirsty monsters let me tell ya. And to be honest i think they weigh in more than is listed, they are really heavy. the only complaint i have is the wire leads coming off the subs are suppose to be 8 gauge and i dont think its a true 8 gauge at all. more like 10 guage wrapped in really thick plastic. But thats not a big deal. You get a whole lot of sub for the money here for sure. I will be adding another 2 for sure. Also this is not a sub made for SQ either this is a straight up SPL sub so if your into the whole SQ thing this wont be the sub your looking for. This is for long abusive notes. Also the surround i thought was suppose to be foam and when i recieved mine was not foam it was rubber! Thats even better!

These woofers are really great for the price. One of these speakers hits harder than two of my mtx crv woofers. The only thing they need to focus on is the packaging and handling of the product because mine seemed to have been dropped then sent away.

I have this single sub wired in parallel in a ported box 1.8cu with a Planet Audio 4000 watt amp. I had to turn the gain almost all the way down to make the bass not overpower. When I push this thing a little bit it flexes my Jeep, the mirrors rattle so hard you can't see. For the price you can't go wrong. I had it in a sealed 1cu box for a few weeks wired in series, it hit pretty hard but not as hard as the ported enclosure, but that is another review. There is no way that I am going to be pushing this sub to its full potential, but I am anxious to see how long it lasts, the last Lanzar subs I had lasted for a few years before they were stolen :(

This thing hits hard. Been pounding it a few weeks now. takes serious power. I was a little skeptical because of the frequency range above 50hz. Honestly, I miss the lower freqs. Hard to knock the sub though because that is stated. It hits its frequency range hard and loud though. I put it in a 1.8ft^3 box and added a port. had to use a 4 inch port because I couldn't fit a 10 inch long port, am getting some port noise. I would recommend using 5 inch as recommended. The port would have to stick out a bit for my box but I think I might change it.
I think this would be an awesome sub to pound the higher freqs in a multi sub system. Would have to run a crossover and seperate amplifier though. By itself, you will miss the lower freqs, trust me. It is a great sub and does what it is designed to do, just know what that is.

I recently bought one 12' Lanzar 1232D and put in single ported box... this thing hits crazy hard and low. Pushing it with a 1200W RMS Brutus amp, for the money It is untouchable.

This sub is great honestly, very well built, except for the way the positive/negative terminals were. They were just wires instead of being connectors which made it harder for me to install in my sub box as they are short and took more time with stripping and what not. But the SUB hits really hard on those rhythm notes and hard in its frequency range so you can really feel the beat. But there is just no musical backbone, this thing is just straight up raw power. The 50-200hz frequency range is accurate IF you're using a sealed enclosure like me, so it didn't offer and deep roll offs my previous subs had which was the disappointing factor. Overall good sub for the bass pounder, not so much for the sound quality. Just a personal disliking. If you have the same feel as me, do not buy. Also, it's only ONE sub not two for the price.

This sub is a beast. I bought one months ago at a pawn shop for like 100 bucks. This one 12 has done damage. I had it in a high tuned box and it slammed hard on a boss riot 2400 @ 1 ohm. Built custom box for it and tuned it LOW! 28 hz. This thing just tears stuff up. It flexes my car so hard, nobody can believe its one 12 making all that. Anyway, just ordered another one from Amazon through 3 kings. Hopefully all goes well. Originally ordered from DJ Garrett...never again. Also ordered 2 Autotek SM3200's and an Autotek 1400.4 along side an XS Power 950 batt. The sub will go in the same box (just need to cut another hole which will change the tune to about 33hz) and each sub will have its own amp. Highly recommended for a budget build. Cons- There hungry... You need to really feed these!
