The woofer looked pretty cheap coming out of the box. Why all the stupid fins and plastic crap on the magnet assembly? Mines was busted off, yo. A plastic fin, I mean. The cone was thin and flexible, which seems like a bad idea to me. People rave about these subs and I never actually heard mine due to the shipping damage as an excuse to send it right back. At this price, get a frigging Pioneer and be done with it. As art this sub is sub-par, but heck, it may just pound.

Power Acoustik lies about their specs. This speaker can not have 34mm of xmax. The wattage seems grossly overstated, too. I use their amps, but they are the only 'budget' company that I will buy from. None of this Pyle/Pyramid/American Legacy crap. Who makes a actual 1000w RMS amp for 50 bucks? No one.
