You’ll receive email updates at every step in the process so you’ll never be left in the dark: Five-Day Service Guarantee: SquareTrade will reimburse the full item price or fix your item and ship it back within five business days of receiving it at the depot, or your care plan is free. For large items with in-home service, a local technician will contact you to schedule service within five business days of claim approval (Since in-home service is dependent on the customer’s schedule, repair times are not guaranteed within five days). Hassle-Free Coverage SquareTrade has designed the warranty with your needs in mind. They make it easy for you to: Manage it online. You can fax or email SquareTrade your item receipt at any time, and they will store it as proof of purchase. Cancel anytime. In the first 30 days, you may cancel for a full refund. After that, you are reimbursed the unused part of your care plan – e.g., if you cancel your 3-year care plan, after 18 months with no claims, you’ll get 50% of your money back. Transfer at no cost. When your device changes ownership, so can your care plan. Transfers can be done online or via phone. No refurbished replacements. Being someone that is skeptical about warranties I took a chance and purchsed a warranty with squaretrade on my LCD TV, after it developed blue lines in it I contacted Squaretrade and was refunded in full immediately, I since purchased several of thier warranties including one on my larger replacement LCD TV, with a string of bad luck that TV went black on me, I again contacted squaretrade and was so impressed with their service and speed. They reviewed my claim, asked me some basic questions and determined that a full refund was the easiest solution, I had this TV for over two years at the time of the claim. I'm not a big warranty person, as most experts will say aftermarket warranties are not worth it, but this company has changed my outlook, the cost of the warranties I purchased for all my items were so minimal and the service was incredible and hassle free, you would have more of a problem if you tried to return something to a store than with squaretrade. I highly recommend you pick up one of squaretrades warranties for any device, large or small. I can say it is WELL worth the small amount they charge.

I was very happy with the way my extended warranty was handled by SquareTrade. They exceeded my expectations. I just bought another extended warranty on a Blu-Ray disc player.

This is hard to rate unless something actually happens to the TV that I purchased this for. Hopefully it never happens. I can say that it's nice to go to their website to check the status on the warranty. I noticed you can file a claim from the site, and complete other maintenance tasks. We'll see how it goes!
