Pretty durable (i have been able to even reuse them), pretty soft so it doesn't pull at the dog's fur and or skin, very elastic! Does exactly what it sets out to do!

Perfect. I love the look of top-knots and bows but hate the mats, bald spots, and irritation caused but common elastics. These elastics have turned me into the bling Queen of my salon.
