This year after an all day hike (10 miles) into wilderness country on opening day about an hour before sunset, I was completely out of water and exhausted when I spotted a big bull elk. He came down with the second shot. Then I wondered how I was going to clean this animal without being covered from head to toe with blood. After tagging him and taking a few pictures, I began digging through my backpack. There were the field dressing gloves I had placed there a few years ago. What a life saver. They went on quick and although it was still very difficult to gut this huge animal, after I was done, I simply peeled off the gloves, turned them inside out and placed them back into the envelope they came in. I was virtually clean so I could use my GPS, find my way back to camp and get help hauling this trophy out. This order was for 6 more sets, so next year I will pass them out to my buddies, so they can enjoy being as clean as I was and enjoy the experience even after bringing down your deer or elk.
