I guess I will start with the fact that I have a German Shepherd who likes to chew on things, be it my shoes, slippers or dog toys with squeakers. Needles to say, once he gets a hold of it, it is destroyed. These Squeaker balls are GREAT! Not only does it keep him occupied, they are pretty durable for him to chew on. They are bigger than a normal tennis ball, which is good for Large Dogs. They measure roughly 3-1/4" in diameter, where the regular squeaker ball is 2-1/2" in diameter. Highly recommended toy.

If you have an avid chewer, this ball will not last long. I have to watch mine like a hawk and keep throwing it and keeping him busy with playing with it and not let him sit down and chew on it or he will destroy it in 5 minutes or less. I put the ball away when our play sessions are over. He loves this ball! It kept him running and playing for over an hour each day so far since we've gotten it and he begs for it from the drawer I put it in.

We have 4 dogs, two who love the squeeker toys and two who are afraid of them. My review is for Min. Schnauzer who is 11 but acts like she's 6 mo. when presented with a "squeeker" and my male black lab who spends hours and hours just laying and squeeking. The lab takes his ball everywhere he goes and in addition to a New Year's noise fest, he uses the ball to tell us when he wants out of his shed/pen in the mornings and 10 minutes before supper time. I'll have to say that I agree with many of the reviews here in that the squeek doesn't last nearly as long as it should but he's now well past the stage of chewing up the entire ball so we do get a little milage out of it. As he takes it everywhere with him, he tends to leave it in the most unusual places (rabbit scents come calling) on our 20 acres. The bright yellow makes it much easier for us to locate. Our little Schnauzer likes the little balls and although she is quite a little squeeker, her big thing is playing throw and chase either with herself or with us. We have been supplying their ball habits for several years now with the Kong balls and will continue to do so as we get as much pleasure just watching them and their fun.

I have a German Shepherd who isn't very destructive of her toys, but she is still a GSD and most toys just can't take the abuse. I haven't ever had a squeaky toy last more than 1 hour except a different Kong toy (a large Air Dog jack). She's been squeaking this ball nonstop for 3 days now, much to the annoyance of my girlfriend, and it still squeaks!

these KONG tennis balls are not made in USA as described but in China. I hope KONG has thoroughly inspected them.

I see the word "KONG" on a dog toy and immediately want to associate it with "indestructible". I've learned in the short time I've had my dog that this is not always the case. However, I was impressed that it took about 3 hours before my dog figured out she could start to chew off the yellow material. I do wish it were somehow possible to have a similar material that was not easily chewed off. I have an American Staffy mix and so far buying a variety of toys has prevented most of her destructible chewing. I think the balls are actually pretty great, I bought a large size knowing her mouth would be able to grab it but it would not be a leisurely chew for her. I also buy things knowing she'll chew the crud out of them; better $5.00 toys over my carpet, wood floors, couches, etc. The nice thing is having one ball for inside play and another for outside. When the inside ball is chewed up too much it'll go outside as well. One note, because the fuzz seems to come off in a stringy fashion, best to try and trim that up as the dogs chew it off. I could be a paranoid pet owner, but I did notice this when my doggie finally made her way to destroying the ball.

NOT AS PRODUCT DESCRIPTION STATES ... IS NOT MADE IN USA ... The label CLEARLY states "Designed and Tested in the USA. Made in China."
DONG Air Dog "INTERACTIVE TENNIS FETCH TOY"
Unfortunately, the product description doesn't include the warning that is on the product label once I received it.
"THIS PRODUCT IS NOT A CHEW TOY."
"DISCONTINUE USE IF TORN."
Seems to be only a couple of REALLY cheaply constructed, made-in-China, tennis balls with "SWEAKAIR" printed on them.

This toy is marked made in China, yet it says made in USA within the product review. I'm not going to give my dog toys or treats or anything made in China. HOW VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR A PRODUCT TO BE MISLABELED AS A USA PRODUCT ONLY TO BUY IT AND SEE IT MADE IN CHINA. Now I have to pay to return it. Dog can't play with new toys, I am inconvenienced.
