This is a GREAT tool!!! The color goes on light but gets more vibrant and you are able to see it easily. It takes a little longer to disappear that some but it does eventually. I would highly recommend this pen and will reorder it when I need another one.

It's a "fine point", yes. but instead of being fin and soft it is fine and hard, like a ballpen, and as a results it barely leaves any mark. you have to press really hard for any ink to come out at all, and if you are marking fabric on a soft surface, then it's impossible to get any ink trace with this pen at all. I'm deeply disappointed.

I usually use the purple fine point marker, but my local supplier only had this blue fine point, and I figured they'd be the same, since they're from the same manufacturer and are described as having the same traits.
First issue I had was the bleeding- the marks I made with the fine point bled out into large blobs, pretty much negating the benefit of using a fine point at all.
But the bigger issue is, I have "erased" the blue marks many times and they continue to reappear once the fabric fully dries. They seem to be re-appearing more on the synthetic lining than on the silk outer.
I guess the lesson learned is to always spot test a marker before using it in a project, and to special order what I know works for me.

Although the description stated the marks disappear...they don't. I got them to mark quilting lines on off white fabric and they have been there for weeks now. I used it to mark lines for embroidering a baby onesie and, when I rinsed the onesie after it was done, the marks did disappear. Hopefully they didn't reappear later! I was hoping to avoid having to dampen the quilt to remove the marks but it looks like that isn't going to happen.

Good marking pen for light colored fabric. Line is a little too fine for my tastes, requiring a bit of scribbling for me to get a decent visible line. I wish it were visible on dark fabric as well.
