Product Description

Digital handheld refractometer performs as well as most laboratory-grade automatic Abbe refractometers. Ideal for a wide variety of industries, including food and beverage, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and chemical. Refractometer digitally measures critical angle, reflected light refractive index, or % solids as Brix. Readings are displayed instantly on a direct reading LCD panel. Prism temperature sensors and automatic temperature compensation enhance accuracy without the need for temperature correction calculations. The optics and sensing equipment are mounted on a fully sealed, ruggedly constructed die-cast frame in a molded housing that provides maximum environmental protection and chemical resistance. The hardened glass sample measurement surface is scratch-resistant for years of worry-free operation. The AR200 software includes single or multi-point calibration, four reading modes, and adjustable contrast control. The optional IR communication package includes a docking station that allows for reading log, calibration log, and custom scale transfer to any laboratory PC via RS-232-C serial port.
