These upright biomedical freezers are designed for short- or intermediate-term storage at temperatures as low as -30 degrees C. Units provide a variety of storage options, excellent safety features, easy operability, and highly reliable service in applications such as industrial aging and temperature tests, biotechnology installations, and validated medical sample and supply storage. Freezers feature microprocessor-controlled temperature, calibration, and alarm capabilities, operated via digital LED displays with touchpad key controls located on the face of each unit. Units feature hermetic rotary compressor cooling systems. Four casters with two adjustable leveling feet and a 30mm diameter access port are supplied with each unit as well. Space-saving model 82028-030 can accommodate large capacities within a limited space. This unit features four direct cooling evaporator-type shelves, four large baskets, and one small basket. A single, lockable, magnetic sealing outer door is standard. It uses R134a refrigerant. Large-capacity model 82028-032 is equipped with two stacked outer doors designed to reduce cold air loss during openings. Separate lockable door latches are provided for extra security. This unit features six medium-sized topside baskets and eight small bottomside baskets. Individual freezer circuits are included for each of the five drawers. Unit utilizes R-407D refrigerant.
