This thickener works well for thickening drinks. Even though it's supposed to be tasteless, my mom says it has a slight taste; she doesn't like it in water, but says it's fine in iced tea. We have found that the Thick-It 2 (this product) works better than the regular Thick-It; you need to use less of the product, resulting in less calories and added taste to whatever is being thickened. It's easy to use.

I like the "new" Thick-It" (Blue Container) far better than the older version (Yellow Container). The Blue Thick-It has very little taste and goes into solution faster than does the Yellow Label.

Other brands we used have lost their thickening quality too quickly
