Amorin Seville is a premium grade cork flooring featuring WRT micro-bevel Ceramic finish. WRT finish is the most durable finish available, perfect for even active areas. WRT is based on a ceramic compound. Ceramic is second in hardness, only diamonds are a harder surface. WRT also decreases the effects of ultraviolet sunlight, which can affect coloration in other flooring materials. Seville has a total thickness of 11.5mm that includes a high density core. The attached cork underlayment helps Seville reach a .55 rating on sound transmission absorption testing. Seville is environmentally friendly, both the top veneer layers and the bottom attached underlayment are made from renewable cork. Seville is as beautiful as it is durable, and is warm and quiet underfoot. Seville installs quickly and easily. The patented Corkloc locking system is a glueless "click" interlocking installation feature that requires less subfloor preparation than other products that are glued to the floor. Installation instructions are included in every box. Seville installs using common household tools. Maintenance is basic, a vacuum cleaner and a damp mop are all that are required. The cork for Seville is harvested from the outer bark of the cork oak tree. These trees grow mainly in the Mediterranean region. Corks elasticity, combined with it's near-impermeability make it the perfect material for flooring. Cork is harvested on a sustainable basis and the stripping of the bark does not harm the tree in any way. Cork is also naturally hypoallergenic. Seville is Formaldehyde free, using a patented Acrodur BASF water based binder for a product free of chemical substances. Seville meets the European Forest Preservation Mandate requirements. Seville is GreenGuard certified for indoor air quality, the gold standard of indoor air quality. Seville also meets Iso-9000 international quality standards.
